What I threw out today:
- a cotton ball– could’ve been organic cotton
- paper towels– the cloth napkins were in the wash… could’ve been recycled paper
- peach pit– if only I had a compost pile… it’ll decompose anyway
- a lot of paper stuffing and a shoe box and useless catalogs that came with the purchase — umm… tell companies to stop wasting so much paper
- silica packets – I have no clue!
- Q-tips — could’ve been organic cotton
- laundry dryer fuzz – I dunno… won’t it decompose?
- an apple core – biodegradable.
- a plastic bag from a bunch of bagels — why don’t they sell bagels in different packaging?
- a plastic bag used for shipping mail — grr… could’ve just sent it to me in a cardboard box that could’ve been reused and/or recycled
- thick slices of bubbled plastic (it was stuck in some boots I got to keep the taller parts from flopping over) — they could’ve used cardboard!!
